In 1889, Paul Gauguin developed his signature style and organized the first showing of Symbolist Art in Paris. A staff member from the Cleveland Museum of Art will guide you through this important period in Gauguin's life with anecdotes and breathtaking images. |

Paul Gauguin started his travel journal, Noa Noa, during his first visit to Tahiti in 1891-93. In it, Gauguin recorded his intimate perceptions of the island both visually, through the woodcuts he produced, and through his narrative. You'll use some of the Ingalls Library's 440,000 cataloged volumes to explore the exotic land of Tahiti with a library staff member. |
