Gallery Label Copy (Box List)

Description: Dating primarily from the late 1980s through the early 2000s, this collection includes two series: 1) Text for label copy from special exhibitions [view series 1 box list] and 2) permanent galleries [view series 2 box list]. It also includes photocopies of labels that were removed from gallery walls during the museum renovation project in 2005. This is by no means a complete representation of museum object labels which may also be found in curatorial offices. Text of label copy dating from 2003 forward can be found in the electronic records archive.
