With the redesign of the Cleveland Museum of Art’s public website, the Ingalls Library has created a fresh new look for our own pages. The library catalog still resides at library.clevelandart.org, but we have streamlined the page. We call it the Collections Compass, and it consolidates the menus that once appeared on the left hand side of the page, at the top. Once you log in, all of the familiar resources, including the publication request form and electronic call slip, appear in the menu options. Visitors to the museum’s public website will find a new informational page for the Ingalls Library. This page will provide a direct link to our catalog, blog, Collection in Focus, and other important resources. Over the next few months, the library catalog will undergo subtle improvements, both stylistic and functional, to continue delivering information faster and with more nuance. Look for search result details and more. The library blog will continue to track these changes and the reference staff will provide on the spot instruction in these exciting new developments. Until then, log in and see what’s developed!
