Welcome to the Ingalls Library & Museum Archives!
Welcome to another installment of the electronic journals spotlight series! In keeping with our commitment to providing first-class research materials, the library continues to expand its collection of electronic journals, accessible via the E-Journals A-Z list on the library’s homepage. This month we’re in the D’s where we’ll be taking a look at dress, design and DOP.
Welcome to a new monthly blog series which will focus on electronic resources in the Ingalls Library collection. This month we’re starting with one of the most fascinating databases in our collection – Index Islamicus.
This lovely photographic view book by Thomas A. Knight is a visual stunner. Published in 1903 and gifted to the Cleveland Museum of Art Library on September 29, 1919, the photographs are, "views and descriptive matter, illustrating the country seats of prominent Cleveland Business Men." And it is not merely a display of wealth and acerage, but hightlights advances in husbandry and horticulture.
For the second year, the Ingalls Library and members of Art Books Cleveland have collaborated to create one book (or book object) on the theme selected by members. Museum and library visitors may remember last year’s Travel Journal Project; ABC member artists were invited to create travel journal artist’s books that were on display at the Ingalls Library.
