On January 20, the CMA hosted Dana Schutz in conversation with Nell Painter. During the riveting conversation about race relations, cultural appropriation, and abstract painting, Painter urged the audience to read the Tate Modern's catalog for Soul of a Nation: Art in the Age of Black Power.
