Scope and Contents note

Dating primarily from the late 1980s through the early 2000s, this collection includes two series: 1) Text for label copy from special exhibitions and 2) permanent galleries. It also includes photocopies of labels that were removed from gallery walls during the museum renovation project in 2005. This is by no means a complete representation of museum object labels which may also be found in curatorial offices. Text of label copy dating from 2003 forward can be found in the electronic records archive.
