The Library and Archives are located in the Cleveland Museum of Art at 11150 East Boulevard, Cleveland Ohio 44106. Use the north lobby steps or take the elevator to floor 2R.
Registration is required to use library and archives materials. To pre-register, visit the library's registration page.
Access to Library Materials
All library materials, except those in the reference collection, are housed in closed stacks and must be requested for retrieval at the circulation desk for use in the reading room. Materials are retrieved from the library stacks at 9:30 a.m., 11:00 a.m., 12:30 p.m., 2:00 p.m., and 3:30 p.m.
Access to Archival Materials
All archival materials are housed in closed stacks and must be requested for retrieval for use in the archives reading room, located within the Ingalls Library. Materials are retrieved from the stacks on demand. To facilitate research needs, a prior appointment is recommended.
